Disc golf is a fun and challenging sport that people of all ages and skill levels can enjoy. It’s a great way to exercise, enjoy the outdoors, and meet new people.

Here is a beginner’s guide to disc golf:

  • What you need:

    • Water bottle: Staying hydrated is important, especially when playing in hot weather.
    • Sunscreen: Protect yourself from the sun’s harmful rays.
    • Hat: Keep the sun out of your eyes and help to keep you cool.
    • Comfortable shoes: You’ll be doing a lot of walking, so ensure you have comfortable and supportive shoes.

  • How to play:
    • Disc golf aims to throw a disc into a basket in as few throws as possible.
    • The course is divided into several holes, each with a tee pad and a basket.
    • Players throw from the tee pad until the disc lands in the basket.
    • The player with the lowest score at the end of the game wins.

    • Practice your form: The most important thing in disc golf is having good form. You want to ensure you use your body correctly when you throw a disc. Many resources are available online and in books that can teach you how to improve your form.
